Our Mixed Barbershop Chorus is back for 2024-25 The Men & Women of A-Chord sing Barbershop style music in harmony, with some quartets from the group that entertain as part of our 1 to 2 hour-performance. We are a group of men and women from many US States, Winter Texans and Full-time Texans. We are always looking for interested new singers to join our group; you must love to sing harmoniously. Please join us on any Tuesday from 1:30 to 3:30 pm November to March at St. Marks Methodist Church at the corner of 4th and Pecan in McAllen, TX.

Jeff sings and plays bass, rhythm, and lead guitar using a finger picking technique while simultaneously stomping out the beat on his custom designed drum set. He also adds a little harmonica just to keep it interesting. The addition of Nancy's top-notch vocals makes this group an undeniable crowd pleaser! Social Distance Entertaining: Our sound system sits on a motorized cart and runs on batteries so shows can be done outside and even in places where electricity is not available! In fact multiple "mini shows" done in several different locations on the grounds is our specialty. No stage is required!
