Use The Performing Artist Virtual Showcase to Maximize Your Success!
Whether you have an existing website or not,
you can enhance your web presence by participating in the Performing Artist Virtual Showcase (PAVS).

You are in complete control of the information shown on YOUR virtual Showcase page.

You can make it a "static page" requiring little or no updating and managing.

You can use it as a "dynamic page" posting and managing your scheduled events,
adding and updating pictures and videos and keeping the message of your page current with the times.

If you do not have an existing website,
you can register a domain name and "point" it, with domain forwarding, to your PAVS page.

About Your Showcase Page (EPK)
Your Virtual Showcase Page includes:

★ Introduction to who you are (displayed on a previous page leading to your showcase page)

★ Links to other websites (your site, facebook, youtube etc,)
★ Booking information and availability
★ Scheduled events (if desired)

To Add or Update your Profile Picture:
Click on the "Update Profile Picture" button.
Then click on "Choose File" (or Browse), locate and select & open the picture you want to upload from a location on your computer or other device. Now click on "NEXT", then click on the yellow button that appears in the upper left corner "Apply Change Now".
NOTE:Only these file types may be uploaded: jpg, jpeg, png, gif

To ADD or Update your Profile Video: NOTE: videos must be uploaded to a youtube channel.
Get the Youtube Video ID from the URL of the video you are embedding.
IE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCRS4DRmf_w "TCRS4DRmf_w" is the video ID
Click on the "Update Profile Video" button.
Enter the video ID where prompted and click "Apply The Change"
Your Introduction appears on the page in the website when a viewer chooses a state.
To Add or Update your introduction, click on the "EDIT INTRO" button.
Fill out or edit the form and submit it.
Your introduction should be brief, but attention grabbing.

Your Bio is where you should get into depth about who you are, what experience you have and what your audience can expect when attending your performance.

To Add or Update your Bio, click on the "EDIT BIO" button. Fill out and submit the form.
INTRO
LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
You can create "out-links" to as many different websites as you desire.

For example:
Your Website
Your FaceBook page
Your Youtube Channel
Other Social Media etc. etc.

I have included a feature which allows you to place the links any order you desire.
BOOKING AVAILABILITY
Tell Venues and Activity Directors what they need to know.

Your BOOKING Contact Information

What states/provinces do you perform in?
(list them all using 2 character abbreviations)

When are you available for bookings in each state?

Be sure to give all of the information that they will need to make an informed decision to contact you.
YOUR SCHEDULED EVENTS
If desired, you can post your scheduled events to your Showcase page.

This is made easy with a user-friendly form.

You can "embed" your schedule onto your existing website (if you have one) using an IFRAME, eliminating the need to update your schedule in both locations.

If you choose to upload your schedule to your account, venues will be able to easily "check your availability" for a specific date they need to fill.


If you prefer, you can simply create an "out-link" to the schedule page of your existing website.

PICTURES AND VIDEOS
You have a "profile picture" and a "profile video".
These appear at the top of your showcase page.

With a couple of clicks, you can update these as often as you like.
You have a "Photo Gallery" and a "Video Gallery" in which you can post as many photos and videos as you want to. If desired you can include captions.
Upload "Press Quality" Promo Pictures and use the captions feature to indicate these are for promotion use.
With just a few clicks you can upload as many photos as you desire.

You can set the order in which they show on your page.


You can add as many videos as you want. Videos must be uploaded to Youtube.
You embed them on your page using the form provided.
NOTE: you only need to enter the video ID, found in the youtube URL as shown here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdUfolcpZCY (the video ID is highlighted in yellow)
TESTIMONIALS and REVIEWS
The process by which you receive and post testimonials and reviews has been simplified.
A viewer clicks on the "SEND REVIEW" button on your page.
They fill out and submit the on-line form.

An email is generated to you stating that a viewer has sent you a message.
Using the link provided in the email, you go to your control panel page for managing your messages.

The new message will be the first one showing from the top.

The message will not show on your "live" page until you click on the yellow button "ON HOLD POST NOW".

You can EDIT and DELETE messages as desired.

WHEREVER THEY ARE!
