At the age of 7, Greg Hager felt called to use music to make a difference. He learned to play guitar, and started writing songs. For the past 15 years, music has been his primary vocation. Greg shares at churches, and entertains at rodeos, city & regional concert series, banquets, festivals, county & state fairs, just to name a few. His music sells around the world and is regularly played on various Internet and broadcast radio stations.

He is signed with Nashville label, MFG Records, and recently released STATE OF MIND. The title track "State Of Mind" was the #1 song on the worldwide Western Music Charts for over 12 weeks. The album was in the top 30 for over 9 months. Greg made his 4th concert tour to Japan in May 2023. Most years he sings over 140 programs around the United States and overseas.

Greg has a concert style that the industry calls "listening entertainment." He is a story-singer, and uses his original songs to weave a journey for every audience – Songs about life, living, love, cattle, country, and faith. He uses every platform to creatively connect with the audience. Often he will personalize his concert to the region he is playing. Nominated for induction into the 2022 Class at the North Dakota Cowboy Hall Of Fame, for Western Entertainment.

Awarded the Entertainer of the Year in 2019 with the Cowboy Country Artist Association.

Awarded the Artist of the Year in 2021 with the Academy of Western Artists.

Nominated for the prestigious North Dakota Governor’s “Roughriders Award”

Received an "Album Of The Year" Award with the Rural Roots Music Commission.

Hager has recorded and released 10 CD’s in Nashville. Five of his albums are “positive” Western-styled country story songs, one Christmas album, and three albums of Country Gospel. He even released an EP in Japanese.

Born and raised on the land in Eastern ND, his western roots run deep.
