Dennis Craswell ..The Original Castaway known for hit song : "Liar Liar". Formerly from Minneapolis, MN, and is a former member of the bands: The Castaways and Crow. Playing in the Rio Grande Valley since 2010. Awarded a Valley Star Award in 2020, by the Winter Texan Times and voted for by the Winter Texans in the Rio Grande Valley RV Resorts. Venues are on South Padre Island and in the Rio Grande Valley at RV Resorts including dances and shows. Dennis has 6 regional Rock n Roll Country of Fame awards .Dennis is an original member of The Castaways “Liar Liar” number one hit from 1965. In addition to touring with The Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, Sonny and Cher. Dennis appeared on TV shows that include Dick Clark’s...”Where The Action Is”, Hollywood A-Go-Go, and appeared in the movie “It’s A Bikini World Dennis Craswell adds keyboards, drums and vocals, and is a Drummer on TWO top twenty Billboard hits. Dennis is an original member and co-author of The Castaways famous song "Liar Liar" number one hit from 1965. The song "Liar Liar" has been used in four movies, and 3 networks and cable TV have used the song. Dennis plays up north in MN in the summer and spends winters in the Rio Grande Valley. We love seeing Denny and the Castaways on the Holiday Inn beach in Detroit Lakes, MN all summer. Playing oldies, island music, country and current hits as well, he entertains us on the keyboards and steel drum. His easy beat makes you want to get up and dance! Then in the winter, he plays all over the Rio Grande Valley. He always plays his hit Liar Liar, which he wrote in the 60s and remains a favorite for everyone. Thanks Denny for providing us with great music!

Hey I`m tickled that Dennis kept his musical talent and passion up all these years ...he can probably survive without having to work just on `Liar Liar` royalties ...but he played and tired all his life and with all the great bands ...plus , a greatest hits album --how many of us can say that ? Go Dennis ! Id love to come check - out one of your performances there in Minnesota ( I`m born in 1958 so was 7) Liar Liar remains one of my all time 60's hits and I was astounded at how young Dennis the drummer and vocalist was in 1965! Yes I was just 7 but grew up with early Rock in the town of Rockville MD, where I still am. A retired hairdresser and earmarks learning teacher I`m now exploring TV with my teenage son ( Rob Lowe is a third cousin - lol )

The Castaways playing Wipe Out..This is our signature song that we have played for 15 years. We gave these T-shirts out as a gift. These dancers at this 55+ park, like to lay on the floor and pretend to be Cockroaches..! So much fun. Book us..and have fun with The Castaways..!
