The Men & Women of A-Chord sing Barbershop style music in harmony. With some quartets from the group that perform as part of our more than 1 hour performance. We are a group from many US States, (Winter Texans). We also have a number of local Rio Grande Valley singers. Many hold membership in The Barbershop Harmony Society.

We are known for our red vests and bow ties. This harmony-loving group performs an average of 8 to 10 concerts per year at many RV parks and organizations.

Our local group started here in McAllen, TX in 1992 with about 7 to 8 men and grew to over 60 at one time. Now in 2023-24 we number about 30 members and we include ladies in our chorus. We are always looking for interested new singers, men and women, to join our group you must love to sing harmoniously. Please join us on for practice any Tuesday from 1:30 to 3:30 pm November thru March at St. Marks Methodist Church at the corner of 4th and Pecan in McAllen, TX.
